Kickin’ It Media Group grew from years of entrepreneurship, creative work and seeing firsthand how hard local business owners work to build something worth noticing. The problem was rarely the business itself. It was making sure the brand people saw online actually reflected the quality, personality and experience behind it.
That became our lane: helping local businesses look as good online as they are in real life.
We’re Ashley and Mike Hernandez, the husband-and-wife team behind Kickin’ It Media Group. We’re based in Keller, Texas, and we’ve spent years building businesses ourselves and helping other business owners figure out how to tell their story, reach the right people and grow.
Ashley leads strategy, branding and digital marketing. With a background in entrepreneurship, creative direction and business development, she looks at the bigger picture: how a brand is positioned, how it communicates, where it shows up and whether all of those pieces are actually working together.
Mike leads photography, videography and visual storytelling. As an FAA Part 107 drone pilot and experienced photographer and videographer, his approach is less about staging a business into something it isn’t and more about capturing what makes it worth noticing in the first place.
Together, we connect strategy with execution. The website, the content, the visuals, the social presence and the way your business gets found shouldn’t feel like five different companies worked on them.

Ashley leads strategy and client direction at Kickin’ It Media Group. She starts by understanding the business behind the brand: the audience, the goals, what’s working, what isn’t and where the biggest opportunities are.
From there, she connects the pieces. Brand positioning, messaging, content, social media, websites and digital visibility all become part of one strategy built around where the business is trying to go.
Mike is the creative eye behind Kickin’ It Media Group’s photography and video production. His documentary-style approach focuses on capturing businesses as they actually feel: the people, movement, details and moments that make customers want to experience them for themselves.
As an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot, Mike also brings aerial photography and videography into the mix, giving businesses another perspective for showcasing properties, events, destinations and the environments behind their brands.
His goal isn’t to make your business look staged. It’s to capture what makes it worth noticing.
